I have bought four of these 3lb jars to date - I love using it liberally in coffee, tea or just on toast with butter. The sweetness is definitely less intense than a typical refined white sugar, so you may need to use slightly more to achieve the same sweet profile - but this Pure Maple Sugar brings and the additional subtle maple flavor that really takes pancakes or other pastries to the next level. If you're a coffee fanatic like me and often unjoy the special addition of flavor shots like hazelnut or french vanilla, you definitely should give this sugar a try, and you can save money by making that special morning brew at home.
