That being said, the leeching of plastic microparticles and the effects they have is an extremely subtle effect (it's not going to kill you, and you don't need to obsess like some kind of political activist, just try to change what you can), so I understand that some people might not care about that at all, as well, there are situations where plastic is still safe (like you wouldn't want to give a very young child a heavy metal box, or one with glass that could shatter). Regardless of your opinion on that - these tiny containers are plenty useful and compact (and remember, you don't necessarily need to put food in these - they're great for small trinkets like keys, rings, USB-drives, paperclips or other various doodads). The shape is really unique (wide and low) - and child-safe with no sharp corners, and a small child might not even realize the lid is unscrewable (which is good). The colors are bright, though I wish there was a bit more selection options, the orange color lid of these seems a bit rarer, it might only be purchasable through the single-orders, and not the 3-packs. Anyway, though these PackASnack jars are a bit hard to find (not listed on Arrow's main site), they're affordable, durable, child-safe, and easy to clean - and sometimes that's just exactly what a parent needs." -MadeInUSAReview
