The mesh is breathable and strong, but also has a small amount of stretch, which can be great when carrying fragile or perishable goods. I own about 10 of these little bags for all sorts of things - it makes kepping things organized yet accessable a breeze - I haven't picked up any of the Blue color version, but I'm sure (like all BagsUSA products) it passes a high bar of quality. There are a few caveats of these though, being that you shouldn't store anything with super sharp edges, as they will get snagged in the mesh weave and potentially cut a hole, also (obviously) cargo in these pouches get virtually zero shielding from water, sun, or wind damage - so consider keeping valuables of that sort within their own ziplocs, or a different bag entirely.
