Product Review; "Beware of imitators ! While searching for the links to online store I found tons of copycat chinesium companies with bogus brand labels on side of the cup saying just "mason", and with dubious glass strength as well I'm sure. Make sure to seek out only ones with the "Ball" label - they are harder to find (only a handful of legit sellers versus hundreds of ripoff products and thousands of drop ship resellers). The cups are great - if quite small, I'm used to Ball's "Wide Mouth" sized cups and this "Small Mouth" cup can be really difficult to clean, as well as not holding anything more than a standard soda can (without ice). Mason jars are always super durable, as long as you dont shock a cold cup with hot liquid quickly (or vice versa), or drop them from a decent height (though this fear can be lessened by keeping them in a protective koozie / wrap) - and the portability you get from the stong sealing lids makes Ball / Kerr mason jars a world renowned glassware company. Although they dont currently list these on their site (or I'm not sure if this model is still being manufatcured by Ball), there are still many of these 16oz with handle types floating around (many new-in-box), as this type was actually production for a few decades - they really make it more comortable and easy to grab a slippery icy cold drink on a hot day, or a piping hot tea that would scald ones hand !" -MadeInUSAReview
