Other than the leather section, this is a pretty typical vintage Jansport bag, only one large enclosure, and one smaller pocket on the front. The zippers and seams in the material are strong, but nothing mindblowing - consider this only a city hiking bookbag with some bonus reinforcement - it's not waterproof, nor does it have water-bottle pockets, or even any cargo straps - just a typical, lightweight and comfortable all-day everyday kind of multi purpose back pack. Look out for the specific "made in usa" below the jansport logo, it's one of the only ways to tell you have a model made before jansport went fully outsourced - especially don't be fooled by any of the modern imitations, Jansport no longer manufactures in the USA, so I can only reccommend you check out the great vintage listings on EBay and Etsy !
