Libbey was a major contractor hired to make glassware for many national businesses back then, it was (and still is) advantageous to work with other domestic manufacturers, and these small smoker's receptacles really helped to make a hotel room feel more accomodating. Though these trays can be somewhat on the small side, they still work quite well for an outdoors smokers lounge - though there is not sort of lid enclosure to prevent wind, rain, or "butt fires" from occuring (a feature I highly prefer in any ashtrays I use), so keep that in mind. Even if you yourself are not a smoker, if you're setting up a guest room or other kind of smokers area for entertaining, you can class it up in a 90s nostalgic kind of way - and spark a conversation or two !" -MadeInUSAReview
