Product Review; " I originally stumbled upon these printed pattern versions of Pyrex 7 Cup Storage Bowls on EBay, and picked them on for what was a great price (compared to new). I didnt realize how much of a collectors item they were, as Pyrex only really makes these prints in limited-time productions, usually for some sort of popular culture tie-in (like Disneys Mickey Mouse or Hello Kitty for a company anniversary or movie release). The prints are punchy, saturated high gloss patterns that dont easily scrape off (though it is possible, so be aware). Although the limited prints can be sometimes hard to find, Pyrex makes it easy to pick up a colored lid replacement every size and (virtually) every color, so whatever your aesthetic ideal may be, there is (at the least) a lid color that will match your kitchen's hue and palatte (if that really matters to you). Otherwise they can be used to visually distinguish different containers - maybe to label for different users, or for similar-looking but importantly allergy compliant meals. In my case I eventually decided to just go with the plain transparent versions with a black lid, as it doesnt obstruct any view of the stored food, and black matches most of my other kitchen layout - but for the personalized home, or popular culture collector, these decorated vessels will really fit right in, and brings a bit of that small extra comfort whenever you use them !
