" New, 14mm Female-14mm Male Glass Ground Joint Attachment Angle Conversion/Adapter/Connector. Made by Subconscious Design in USA. Similar to the item shown, see pictures for details. *Not made to hold heavy attachments. If you insist on using something heavy with this, adapt the angle on the other side of the heavy piece to avoid strain. I'd recommend using a clip with an attachment like this to add stability. I have 14mm neck clips available here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/324902018663 " -SubconsciousDesign(EBay)

Instead I wanted to support an american small-business glassblower, and was glad to find Subconscious Design's EBay storefront. Although it seems they specialize in "heady" (artisic, symbolic, often-colorful) designs, they also offer a selection of "scientific" (uncolored glass, minimalistic, utilitarian construction) glass like this one here. Although my sample wasnt precisely exactly 45 degrees, it still accomplished it's function, and because it's hand-blown, I will always accept that not every piece is 100% identical. My Elbow Adapter has held up strong during the year-or-so I've owned it now, it's perfectly compact enough to fit in my mini travel pack, which I use often when I go to music festivals, or just nights out in the city. The Adapter was super reasonably priced, so I can only hope SubconsciousDesign expands their scientific glass catalog (as that's mainly what I use) - and regardless of your taste or requirements for your smoking device of choice, I hope you always choose to support independent American glassblowers, the satisfaction of supporting good honest people, and the quality of a product with attention to detail is worth the time it takes to search them up.
