Whatever the case, these chairs (though some might consider them expensive in comparison to CCP-made slop), are made with superior quality and attention to detail. I've owned my Accelerate model for a few years now, and its still holding up in great condition. At one point, the piston started losing normal pressure, but after contacting Caribou, they told me this is a common problem with pneumatic chair pistons in general, and were quick to send me a replacement. Fully height adjustable, reclining, extremely comfortable, and less than $300, this is a chair that will look great in your home or business office, and will serve well for many years.
