I've ran into some unique situations where I've needed everything from the tinyest fine-point phillips-head, to - well this long-neck wide blade flat-head. Available in multiple lengths (the longest of which I think is has 16 inches of reach), with a single hardened steel shaft (no removable bits) so that the maximum amount of torque can be applied. The hexagonal shaped hard-plastic handle allows one to attach a C-Wrench or clamp for even more leverage, as well as a ball-peen end for doing hammery things. I found this classic screwdriver on EBay for super cheap, it has served me very well for years in all sorts of purposes - Craftsman used to have really stellar quality, while they still do make some things in the US, I think much of their product line is now a slightly different (imported) version. I don't mind vintage tools especially for something simple like this - it does the trick, I save some money, give it to a fellow American (who also cares about made-in-USA) and I never had to send money overseas - win win win win !
