Compared to your average broom, the #1115 features a slightly longer handle at 55inches, and a slightly wider bristle area at 15inches - and the angle of those bristles extends on one side with a steeper slope, great for reaching under and into tight corners. The construction is extremely durable feeling, solidly built with thick bristles, and the handle-end is capped with a grippy bumpy texture (which makes rotating and maneuvering easier, even with gloves) as well as a 1/2 inch hole for hanging on a hook. An American-made broom will be slightly more expensive than a cheaply made import, And on top of that, this is one of Libman's more premium category brooms, but if you're looking for a strong, sleek and supremely well designed, yet simple cleaning device - this is one of the best I can possible reccommend.
