It just wouldn’t be right if they weren’t, would it? Likewise, when an item is not made in the USA, it is listed in the item’s details on the product page. A simple tag of “import” delineates that the clothing was made overseas. "

Though the current JCrew website does helpfully denote which items are imported, I'm not going to bother linking to the modern storefront (as 99% of their catalogue is imported now), and today I'm not talking about their printed tees, rather their vintage Sweaters, Turtle Necks, V-Necks and Hoodies. I was able to find a great "Garment Dyed" Crew neck sweater at a nearby thrift shop, I literally go through looking at every tag until I find one that says "made in usa", then I'll see what I'm actually looking at. The cloth is super thick and insulating 100% Cotton, and the seams are really well sewn - making the whole shirt feel really durable. J Crew made a huge variety of shirts in slightly different fits, colors, styles and sizes, but the quality and attention to detail of their Domestic-made line of clothes was top tier. If you're looking to buy vintage for any reason - check out pre-owned or new-old-stock J Crew shirts on sites like EBay / Etsy, or keep an eye out while browsing secondhand thriftstores - the value is just unlike most you will find nowadays.
