Nowadays they are a husk of their former self, essentially using the Libbey name to divest and seek globalist profits (which of course meant outsourcing, and destroying the US brand image). Still, the foregone quality can still be found being sold on secondhand online stores / vintage antique stores. Libbey made this beautiful cobalt glass in a few forms and designs, including (from what I've seen) a Seattle Space Needle motif, a "Tumbler" cup without a handle, or in some cases, I've seen this Celestial Sun Moon Stars mug but where all the Sun Moon and Stars have fallen off, leaving just a beautiful thick-glass cobalt mug. As well, these seemingly have no real branding (mesides maybe the "made in usa" embossing in all capitol letters) which can make recognizing vintage Libbey glassware more difficult. Anyway I used this mug for many years and it was very strong, enduring many drops and near-boiling liquids, all while looking gorgeous especially while translucently glowing in the morning sun full of piping hot coffee. These mugs are more and more a collectors item, and a good condition one can be somewhat pricey, but like I said they are around in different forms and conditions, so keep an eye out, next time youre perousing the local flea market.
