Product Review; " The MJ Soffe Sweatpants I happened to find while browsing EBay for cheap clothes ended up being extremely comfortable, and (though I basically used them to wear while I did dirty jobs like painting, carpentry and other housework) the thickness and 100% cotton composure makes them super durable and insulating in the cooler seasons. The company lasted many decades, making top quality athletic clothing (especially known for their womens "casual-sexy" type clothing, and cheerleading uniforms), but Soffe came upon hard financial times up until 2024, when near bankruptcy, foreclosure and foreign aquisition led to the complete closure of their manufacturing infrastructure in North Carolina, an establishment that had existed prolifically since before 1950. Yes, another one ends on a sad note - a great company with deep customer and cultural history is absorbed into the ubiquitous nothingness of global foreign investors, but the lesson is nonetheless topical and important - that these small domestic businesses have much more value to the economy and our national sovereignty than may initially appear, and we should support them like we are the underdog to this international oppressor !" -MadeInUSAReview
