They also seem to have many similar alternatives, so give the available products a try too. The boots are relatively comfortable right out of the box, but they do need to be broken-in, and I always prefer to add some sort of insole (gel or foam usually), with the addition of a thick wool or cotton sock, these shoes become some of the most comfortable I've worn. If I could make one gripe, it's that the heel sometime wears on long days (I'll take off my socks and my heel would be chafed a layer of skin deep) - but this issue may be caused by my occasional incomplete lacing of the boots, and a loose fit caused the heel to have room to rub - either way I might reccomend buying .5 or 1 number size larger than you'd normally, to have a nice space between your toe, and the steel-toe. Heavy, ankle lacing, steel toe boots like this aren't for everyone, but once you experience the stability, protection, warmth and comfort of wear these boots provide on an intense workday, you'll understand why they're so popular !
