" Gleaming in perfect proportion, this design is an elegant execution of form plus function. Continental size, in a very heavy weight sterling, its tines are strong and painstakingly balanced. " -SilverSuperstore

The 3 letter crescent insignia is the residing president's initals at the time of manufacture - mine says GWB, meaning Geogre Walker Bush, and that my utensil was manufactured in the early 90s. The Continental line is extremely modest and clean looking, with virtually no decorations or embellishments, save for maybe a slight curvature of the handle, which makes it slightly more graspable and less prone to slip from the hand. The Steling Silver found in vintage Tuttle dinnerware is of timeless quality - and pieces like this hold their value indefinitely - even if the materal becomes so worn out, you can always melt it down and sell for the price of silver !
