Penney, and Champion to make these at different times throughout the 80s and 90s, so it could really be any of those (depending on your exact year/model of jacket). Still widely available on secondhand clothing websites, and somewhat common to find in thrift stores, these fleece coats saw massive popularity, and it's a real shame they are no longer made in the states. I had no issues with the quality or materials, my fleece was soft and comfortable (though don't expect too much actual insulation from these, they are more of autumn weather apparel than cold winter gear). One note, is that black fleece is prone to attract tiny particles of dust and fuzz, so with the use of something like a lint-roller, you can achieve that spotless clean and professional appearance again, and these really make a great work coat if you do corporate sorts of business.
