Product Review; "I have a few Zippos but I had never tried the Pipe Lighter Insert (Even though I had been lighting pipes with the Standard Insert for while) - and the difference (after you get used to how it works,) is great! You end up not putting the actual flame to the tobacco, only the heat - If you hold it sideways all of the combusted lighter fluid particles rise up with the flame. Not too many people have tried this accessory - If you're a user of pipes and zippos, you should really pick one up, the EBay link is to the Insert only (If you don't want another Zippo Case)."
