The time-tested design has benefitted from a few upgrades, namely a wider pedal which has been colored and "holed" like swiss cheese (in combination with a bread or peanutbutter bait is irresistable to mice). Even without bait, the EZ-Set works well simply placing the business-end of the trap against the wall in a route where mice are likely to run. The trap has light and firm sensitivity settings, but Victor reccomends setting towards the middle, to avoid accidental triggers, but also snap closed when a pest crosses the "Kill Bars" path. Killing a mouse isnt pretty (especially having a decaying dead mouse which needs to be disposed of), but the split-second triggering could be considered a humane killing, and preventing food spoilage, feces droppings, and potential damage (to electronic cables, insulation, or other household carpentry) is very important to maintaning the safety of any building. The M156 are cheap enough to be disposable or reusable, and effective to be trusted by businesses and families for generations. " -MadeInUSAReview
